Intense Pulsed Light

Intense Pulsed Light

Photoepilation includes two types of hair removal, Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) hair removal and laser hair removal. Both are known depilation techniques, in which the big difference is in the type of light used.
Device technologies and techniques used in these two types of photodepilation are quite different. The type of energy used and the way it is applied will make a difference in the final results of hair removal.

What is the difference between Pulsed Light and Laser?

Laser has a single wavelength and IPL has multiple wavelengths. One has only one color (monochromatic), while the other has white light (polychromatic), respectively.

The IPL technique is characterised by a machine that is normally used in different spaces such as hairdressers, beauty centers, etc. There is no medical supervision of their use, the treatment is carried out by technicians and the machines can have more uses than depilation, such as the treatment of strokes and photo rejuvenation.
What makes the IPL have other uses in addition to depilation are the filters used, which allow you to vary the wavelength. With the laser this does not happen because it only has one wavelength, being necessary to add more lasers to change the wavelength.
One of the biggest advantages of IPL over laser is that it is less painful, but more sessions are needed to obtain good results. If, on the one hand, it is better for people who are more sensitive to pain, on the other hand, it becomes more expensive due to the number of sessions, never guaranteeing the total elimination of hair.

Fast treatment times and superior comfort factor make SHR a leading choice in the search for hassle-free, permanent hair reduction solutions. Additionally, SHR offers a great way to save on the ongoing cost and time spent on waxing, shaving, and depilatory creams.

With SHR, you can experience comfortable hair reduction treatments in less than half the time of a traditional IPL session. The gradual heating method of delivering IPL SHR light to the target hair follicle also means that the treatment is much more comfortable than other permanent hair reduction methods.

E-Light is the next step in the evolution of hair reduction and hair removal. This technology means we can now target lighter hair that normally cannot be treated with standard laser and IPL machines to permanently reduce even the lightest hair.
The E-light technology in our machine now means we can also treat light and red hair that cannot be treated with IPL or SHR technology. Because they are attracted to the color, this means that generally those who have little or no color in their hair have had to settle for less permanent solutions such as waxing and sweetening, but with E-light we can now treat all hair color with technology. which heats simultaneously at the top and bottom to cut off the blood supply to the hair follicle and this can all be done in the same time it takes to do a standard IPL treatment.
